MARYLAND
HCDFRS provides basic and advanced life support emergency medical services and responds to 37,000 emergency calls per year, serving a population of 325,000. The RA showed us the need for a coordinated approach to improving survival including T-CPR, HP-CPR, code-resource management, and feedback for providers. We have also worked to get RA’s principles incorporated into Maryland’s Statewide EMS protocols. Working with the RA has enabled us to pass the teachings on, through 30+ Academy events on the East Coast.
